Hi everybody,

While reading this thread, i remarked that most answers make a relationship between AP - name check and Mohammed !!

Well, it's nearly 6 weeks that i took the K3 interview in Casa and my husband and I are STILL waiting for their calls!! so, it's not ONLY a matter of "Male" or "Mohammed" as a first name...

I'm a "female" and my last name is a common "male first name" !! I don't have a middle name !!

So, do you think the 221(g) AP is due to my name?? or to other thing(s) (like travels)??... I don't know!! they didn't tell me the reason why I was issued that paper!!! and what it is MORE difficult for me is that i have "no clue" about how long this WAIT will take !! ... especially that my husband is coming back to USA next week and we don't know after how long we'll meet again !!! Basically, we can't plan anything :crying:

Good luck for all who are waiting for THE CALL !!!

I hope someone will correct me if I'm wrong, but I think the reason for the wait would depend on whether they are just running security checks (based on name in the databases) or some type of administrative reviewing where they look at the specifics of a case. And I know what you mean about not ever knowing quite what the heck is going on, although I'm finding unleashing Mohammed on DOS with his daily phone calls is definitely weaseling out information. He is a never-ending question-asker. Maybe I should rent him out???

$10.00 a day should cover his skype fees...

I'm serious. When he wants to know something he makes people CRAZY. He made a female Egyptian worker in the embassy bark at him to "go away he was giving her a headache". Hahahaha... (and you guys wonder why I get so nuts????)
