Hi I recently submitted my I 485 along with the I 130, I submitted each packet with its own cover page that described the contents. I also filled out the USCIS - G-1145, E-Notification of Application/Petition Acceptance to get test message updates on our case. Hope this helps :)

NOA Through Text - 6-28-2013

NOA Through Snail Mail - 7/5/2013

Received Biometrics appointment letter - 7/8/2013 scheduled for 7/23/2013

You are adjusting status which is different than what mostly everyone else is doing in this forum which is an IR-1/CR-1 visa. But thank you for trying. :)

Does the I-864 form need a cover page?

It only needs the bar coded cover page however I put a cover sheet with a list of what was contained within the PDF file I sent to the NVC.

Have you been following the directions for Montreal beneficiaries?

Wow, thanks so much. That link is VERY helpful. I wasn't aware that you could optin for electronic processing and was under the impression that you had to send an original hard copy to the NVC. NVC should make that more clear! Hopefully this will speed up the process!!

Yes but wait until you get the acceptance email for the EP before emailing them anything. Otherwise they won't be able to add it to your casefile.


I really liked the fact that I just brought my originals to the interview vs having to mail everything. :) I hope you have a quick journey through the NVC! :D
