Have you already had your interview? timeline.gif

obviously if they sent the passport they had an interview

Your status should go to issued any time now, keep checking the site. The embassy is opened tomorrow in Amman, so make sure to check

The CEAC says READY anytime from when the embassy or consulate has your case until they "issue" the visa.

Maybe they couldn't get the checks done on the weekend they needed. US government offices will be closed. I would call DOS first thing Monday morning.

as I stated above, the consulate in Amman is open on Sundays. Their hours are Sunday-Thursday weekly. Closed Fridays, Saturdays and Holidays. This week their hours will be Sunday-Wednesday, closed Thursday for July 4th this week.

I wasn't referring to the consulate. I was referring to the DOS. Just because the consulate is open doesn't mean anything in the USA is. :)
