Hello guys,

I have been reading alot and I am so confused to what really a spouse visa form to use. Some said use both forms I130-then when NOA1 recieved then mail out the Form I-129F. Why do you have to use 2 Forms?

I also have read that you do not really need to use the I-129F. Anyone have gone through this please help.

Thank you.

If you plan to get married in the Philippines then you file the I-130 for a spouse visa. If you want to come to the US to get married then you need to file the fiance visa, but not both

but I am confused with this! http://www.visajourney.com/content/k3guide

k3 guidelines.

Once you receive the NOA1 for the I-130:

Assembling the I-129F Package: Checklist

Forms Needed to File for a K-3 Visa:

1. I-130

2. G-1145 (optional)

3. I-129F

4. G-325a

What is K3 for?

Should the the non-us citizen spouse just wait for I-130 to be approved and do not have to send forms I129F?

yes there is a reason to file both, it is for a k3 visa

these visas are almost obsolete and many instances of delays actually being caused by pursuing them

get married, file the 130 alone
