Hello,

My original draft for I-129F was two pages long but found out that's too long after reading some forum topics. I cut it down to two versions: one that fits in the box and a brief paragraph modeled after TonyC88's Q18 answer, with just dates and locations.

Short Version:

From February 2012 to October 2012, Han and I dated while she worked in the U.S.A. While Han resides in Canada, we frequently visit each other flying from Los Angeles, CA to Bellingham, WA then crossing the British Columbia-Washington border by car and vice versa.

Modeled after TonyC88's Response:

Han and I typically visit each other by flying to and from Bellingham Airport in Washington then cross the British Columbia-Washington border by car.

Feb 2012 to Oct 2012: Han and I dated in the Los Angeles, CA area while she worked in the U.S.A

Nov 16, 2012 to Nov, 20 2012: Han flew to Los Angeles for two days to visit me for 2 days.

Dec 14, 2012 to Dec 17, 2012: I flew to Bellingham, WA to visit Han for 3 days.

Dec 24, 2012 to Dec 29, 2012: Han flew to Palm Springs, CA to visit me for 5 days.

Feb 13, 2013 to Feb, 18 2013: Han to Los Angeles, CA to visit me for 5 days.

March 16, 2013 to March 23, 2013: I flew to Bellingham, WA to visit Han for 7 days.

We have all the trip itineraries and pictures to back up the trips, but didn't keep the ticket stubs. Will it be okay without the ticket stubs? Also we're thinking about photocopying Han's work permit to show it was valid during the time period we dated in the United States.

What do you guys think? Which one do version do you prefer?

Thanks,

Ryan

My response to 18 is somewhat similar to the second one.

I also submitted itineraries, photos, and a copy of my work permit, but for me, only as secondary evidence. I couldn't really see the work permit proving that I was actually somewhere. You need strong primary evidence. If you don't have ticket stubs, perhaps you and Han have credit card statements with purchases that show you were together in the same place or city?

The good news is, all those dates you listed are within the past two years, so technically, you only need to prove you met on one of those occasions. Also, if you have evidence for all those trips, you might as well send those as well. It would help build a case for your relationship.

I like version1 but you have to list one date of meeting of which you will provide the required evidences.

You don't get extra credit at this stage for multiple meetings.

Oh one more thing. I realized we do have some of those boarding passes. Unfortunately they're electronic copies (PDF) from when I checked in online. They don't have the highlights and other marks the TSA puts when I go through the security line.

I can print those out. Are the electronic copies okay?
