So a Visa Journey Friend of mine recently informed me that Naples is being really tough on the Affidavit Co-Sponsers. That they at times aren't even accepting them. I'm really really worried since I'm still sort of a student and don't have a job. I asked both my parents to fill out I-134 forms which ranks in close to 100,000 annually, I thought it would be enough to get my fiance here but if I'm still unemployed and interview next week! Any advice??sad.png

You might move this to regional discussions for Italy since the question is consulate specific... What I can tell you is that 3.5 years ago when my husband interviewed there, they were REALLY strict and we had to jump through hoops for ours... They did, not want to see a co-sponsor (we wereCR/IR1 ) but you might get some more recent advice since this is always changing...

If you do get denied, you still have the chance of getting married and file for a spousal visa.

I hope everything works out for you.

Good luck, keep us posted.
