Well, I'm back in the US now with a good job which I started this year, so I submitted paycheck stubs and a letter of employment for that. But, just in case (due to past 2 years income being mostly foreign earned), I did use my father as a joint sponsor.

That's good. No problem then. You might get your checklist email later in the afternoon.

Sorry to hear you got checklisted. Yes, it's basically mean "start over." They'll gonna say wait another 20 business days before it get reviewed again. But with the new forms, NVC is kinda quick in reviewing them. I got checklisted 2x on my AOS. My bad! You need to wait for their email. You need to redo your 9-page AOS. Don't leave any blanks this time. You won't get a copy of your original AOS. Did you not save a soft copy of it? Regarding Part 6 13 a.1 double check coz what they want is the adjusted gross income and not the total annual income. I hope you get the checklist email asap. Good luck.

I got checklisted yesterday via email from NVC about my 864ez. I am confused on what to put on Part 5, no. 19 on most recent income tax return. Am I supposed to use the Line 37 on 1040(Adjusted Gross Income) or Line 22 as total income. I am so worried, cuz I just sent out the new form today and realized that some people said to use Line 22.

Which one is correct?

Line 22 *(total Income)

or

Line 37 *(Adjusted Gross Income)?

Thanks.

Should I send another 864ez set and use line 22?

04/03/2014: Applied for SS

​04/03/2014: ELIS STATUS showed OPTIMIZED right away the day we applied for SS card.

04/07/2014: Green Card Production

04/09/2014: SS Card received.

4/10/2014: ELIS and USCIS status: GREEN CARD PRODUCED/SHIPPED

4/15/2014: GC arrived in the mail (yay!)
