Ok, she was approved on 4 June and thru 6 June the status stayed the same, Ready at the NVC CEAC status site.

As of 7 June the status has changed to Administrative Processing. Does that mean that they are working on our case to issue the visa?

No, it doesn't.

It means they are working on the case to prepare it for the USEM.

The NVC does not issue visas.

Your I-129f was approved in 5 days from your NOA1 date.

Your interview took 67 days from your I-129F NOA1 date.

AOS was approved in 2 months and 8 days without interview.

ROC was approved in 3 months and 2 days without interview.

The case has been there and she has gone through the interview and told approved. the wording NVC CEAC site is the Dept of State Visa status checking website. Not the NVC here in the US. Sorry for any confusion on that but that is how I found info on it before.

This is one thing to always be aware of as a possibility. There is always a final review of the case after the interview. Even if you were told you were 'approved' during the interview it may be stuck in AP for months and an RFE or denial can still be issued. Be patient. This is why they tell you never to make travel plans until the visa is in hand.

We called the Embassy the day we saw "Administrative Processing" on the same website. The Embassy Worker told us not to stress over it. The Administrative Processing means they are working on your visa and it should be "ISSUED" very soon. Go have a nice glass of wine and celebrate the success of your hard work leading up to the interview and your approval... dancin5hr.gif
