Consulate Review: Manila, Philippines
Review Topic: K1 Visa
Event Description
Review Date : May 9, 2013
Embassy Review : The process was very straight forward and the experience was pleasant for us...

0530 - Arrived at the Embassy
0630 - Led by Security to the booth where they checked our documents
0650 - Entered Security Check point No. 1
0700 - Given our Priority Number (5006)
0705 - Entered Embassy Door No. 2 & cleared through second Security Point
0715 - Biometrics Taken
0745 - Interview with Filipino Counselor [10 mis] (Very helpful and accommodating)
0810 - Interview with American Counselor [5 mins] (Straight and to the point, but very accommodating)
0830 - Called to both where we requested that our Visas and Passports are arranged for pick-up at MOA
0840 - Back to the Sofitel loaded with feel good!!!

Questions asked were simple:
Who's the Petitioner?
Where and how did we meet?
How Long have we been a couple?
How old is K2?
When is K2 Birthday?

Zero evidence was requested and I have to say that Hank was right about me going WAY over the top with assurance... haha

Blessed be to the name of Jesus, whom without we would have surly been lost...

Good bless you all.

Frank

POE Review:
Event Description
Entry Date : 2013-05-25
Embassy Review : POE - GUAM

Once exciting the aircraft we followed the rest of the passengers to US Immigrations where we were advised to fall in line where the US Citizens and Immigrants are precessed.

The Lady Immigrations Officer was very helpful and kind; even joking with us in an effort to relax us. She then called for "Secondary" and after 30 seconds of no reply from her colleagues, she lead us to the Immigrations Office herself to insure we make all efforts to board the next plane on time as our connection flight was already boarding.

Once in the office we noticed there were two more people ahead of us that needed to be sorted out first. Although I was certain we would miss our flight, the Immigrations Officers worked very hard and ensured we caught our flight... We were asked a few questions, advised about Jhaneal and Keever's rights following admittance, stamped and personally lead to the next gate to insure we made it on time.

We take our hats off to the professional and helpful Immigrations Officers in Guam. They were very diligent in ensuring that we were "for-real", very supportive, and most of all kind and caring.

If any of you in Guam Immigrations are reading this review, we thank you all again for your hard work and professionalism.

Best wishes to you all,
Sahs

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
