Because it's the date the lockbox gets the package that counts, not when it was sent.

It's the other way around. The date the package was send that counts hence the "Sent" heading

I don't think it really matters. In nearly all the monthly N-400 threads it seems there is a blend of some crossover dates for those on the cusp of the month. If a user sent their package a day or two before the month starts and wants to join in the June thread to track their progress it's fine.

I'm with thebigman2377 on this one. It's usually when you send your application. idea9dv.gif You sent in June, hence you're a June filer. you sent in May, hence you're a May filer. It's a no-brainer. But others see things differently in life I guess. Oh well.
