Hi,

Can sponsor use the income based on the latest salary for i-864? For example in last year tax return income is $16k but now it is around $20k. So, it is possible to use latest salary to calculate the income? I can get the letter and pay-stubs from employer to verify the latest salary.

your answer is 100 percent correct. i had a similar problem also because my joint sponsor making 40k in previous year but got a new job that pays about 65k so what i filled was the 65k which is the present and current wage
