Not only that but also 40 years cannot be used as a measure for any trend in anything global.

how do they know what the GLOBAL temp was 2000 years ago! by an ice sample taken from a core at one location up north?!

hell, i wish i knew how they took GLOBAL readings 150 yrs ago.. LOL>

earth has been Trending with its weather since beginning of time.. lol.. unless EARTH started 40 years ago

If you guys don't want to think about it in heat, fine. Just think about how the planet works. In fact, we've already seen the inverse of this happen very slowly over history. Large amounts of plants covered the planet and breathed in CO2 and output Osygen. Overtime they "polluted" the atmosphere with tons of oxygen. Now, we're taking all of the ancient plant's remains and burning them, therefore releasing their stored CO2 back into the atmosphere. At the same time, we're removing large amounts of plants that produce oxygen and filter CO2. What do you think is going to happen?

I don't know what you mean. Its just a different way to get oil from what I know. We're talking about displacing oxygen with CO2 in the atmosphere.
