Fee paid at NVC for K1 visa

My fiance and I were discussing the payments for the visa fee and medical fees when he mentioned that they already paid a $350 fee at NVC and showed me a receipt with the WAC number. I'm confused because from what I know, I need to pay the visa fee at my local bank and bring the receipt of payment from the local bank when I go to the interview. Or should I just show the receipt they paid at the NVC?

That's what I thought too. Then when he told me they have paid for it. I could pay for the fees here. I'm just confused. What happens to that $350 they paid? Could I use the I'll try calling the embassy again later when their line isn't busy anymore.

A K-1 has no fees to pay the NVC. You pay the $340 for the I-129F petition, then there is a $240 visa processing fee usually paid online or at a bank in the foreign fiance(e)'s country. You consulate should provide the details of how and where to pay the visa fee.

K-1 visa holders do not pay the $165 fee. That is only for immigrant visas such as a spousal visa.

Once you've paid $240 (paid in PH peso only) visa fee and $223.35 (also paid in PH peso only) for medical at St Luke, there should be no additional fee after interview. Also No additional fee for pick up and delivery from 2Go carrier.

my fiance also told me that he paid $350 when he sent our I129F packet.

(IDK what's the $10 for.. maybe extra fee for UPS or what.. but all in all he spent $350 when he mailed our I129F)

this is what i know:

$340 - the I129F application fee

$240 - visa fee (paid thru BPI only; online or at the bank)

$223 - Medical Exam fee (paid in peso: P9,143) effective Feb. 1, 2013

$0/P0 - 2GO delivery

there is no more DELBROS fee for Document verification or visa delivery..

If i am not mistaken, it has been waived since October 2008...

unless there is now a new update..then we should all know about it..

The Embassy no longer uses Delbros. Ignore it.
