Full question reads like this:

I do / do not intend to make specific contributions to the support of the person(s) named in item 3.

(If you check "intend," indicate the exact nature and duration of the contributions. For example, if you intend to furnish room and board, state for
how long and, if money, state the amount in U.S. dollars and whether it is to be given in a lump sum, weekly or monthly, and for how long.

Clearly, I will be doing this for my fiancée coming to the country, but does the financial co-sponsor HAVE TO check this box???

In my case, my aunt has more than enough assets, but we have no plans to take any money from her.

After showing all financial information, if she checks the "do not intend" box, is that a bad thing? What if she provides a disclaimer saying that she does not expect that we will become a public charge?

She's finishing the form today, so I want to make sure I don't flub this up.

Thanks!

I have the same question. I am currently unemployed because I have just graduated and an aunt is going to co-sponsor. What do I put in the form? Unemployed? I currently live with my parents do I just say that he will be staying with my parents?

The link you provided just gives me a black i-134 form

All the above responses do not answer the question asked..the OP wants to know which is the best box option to chose...''I INTEND TO..'' or ''I DO NOT INTEND TO...'' Its one question am also confused.

the answer is NONE!! as in do nothing/don't check anything...leave it the way it is. because "K1 VISA PROCESS FOR PERMANENT RESIDENCE". that should answer your question.

but make sure to write/type in N/A (K1 VISA PROCESS FOR PERMANENT RESIDENCE)

The longer it takes to happen the more you'll appreciate it when it does!
