Hey Everybody,

We applied for our K-1 visa in october 2013 and are starting to get prepared for part 2, hopefully the NOA2 will come soon!

My Fiancee and I are both pretty young 23 for her and 26 for me and I had a few questions, both of which are kinda related;

1. When we originally filed for the K-1 visa we had both been living in China (and still are today) so I used my family address back in the states. Since last October my parents got a divorce and (rather quickly i might add) sold the house. Now neither of my parents have a permanent living space as they are both renting. Is there any way to let the USCIS in Vermont know that our address has changed?

2. Getting ready for the State Department I need to fill out form I-134 the Affidavit of support. However, I have been living in China for the past 4 years and don't have any real estate, stocks and bonds, businesses, life insurance or even a bank account with much money. Would it be possible for one of my parents to fill out this form and then choose the part which says 'I do not intend to make specific contributions to the person(s) named in item 3'? Or would that not be advisable? Or do i need to fill out this form?

Thank you for your help in advance!

My case is similar to yours, except that I still have a physical and reliable address in Philadelphia(my parent!s house). I have been working in Montreal, Canada for over 3 years now on a work permit; and currently living with my fiancée. I am trying to save as much as I can to show that i will be able to support her for a while in USA until I get a job quick( when and after the visa get approved). I have managed to get some extra IT Certification in order for me to have a better chance of getting a job quickly in the US.

my thoughts to you is to try to see if you can save at least $5000 before your interview date, also can ask a friend in the US to use his/her address. Good Luck with everything.
