Yes I agree about keeping busy. I should think it won't be too long for you guys now. The week has just begun again so praying there will be more may filers being approved.

thank you, its nice that eventhough you got approved already, you still set a good example for us to stay positive in the whole situation since i believe almost all of our estimated time of approval was moved.

i wanted to do the workout videos at home but i can't keep up on it so what i did was to sign up for a month membership in a gym in the hospital i was working to and head there after work diligently eventhough usually there's a high census around these time of year here in our country. let's just all do it for the wedding, it'll all pay off in the end. :)

Yes I know how hard it is waiting around and not really knowing whats going on when your fate and your future lies in someone else's hands in our case USCIS hands. But we all have to stick together and think positive thoughts together with prayers we all will get the approval and visa in our hands.

So are you a nurse? I am a nurse here in the UK. Plan to work as a nurse in the US so I already have my Nclex done ready with my licence get. Job will not be hard at all.

If you have a gym at the hospital make good use of it cos honestly its easy to put on weight but hard to shift. I have so far gone from 172lbs down to 162lbs so try to keep it up till I reach my target. When I hd my son in 2012 I really struggled to get the weight off. At 39 weeks when I had him I was 200lbs. Way too much weight gain. Finally shifting it now with a good diet that's high in protein and veg and excersise. I keep a food diary and weight diary since doing that been able to get the weight off.

no i'm not a nurse but i'm a licensed pharmacist here in the Philippines. i know i have to study again and take an exam once i get to the US so what i'm doing as of now here is getting as much experience as i can get because i've been working since i graduated and my fianće told me that i'll need that once i get there. so until such time that we get approved, i wouldn't know when should i resign from work since we also need 1 month notice prior to leaving so that's my dilemma right now. might pass it after NOA2 comes.

i wish i have a food diary or diet plan like you, might ask my instructor or a friend from the dietary department on what to do together with my workout. goodluck to us in getting fit for our wedding!

Yes that's best thing to do. Get loads of experiance bhind you then take the exam.

I follow the p90x diet guide so its all, planned out for me what to eat. I just try not to deviate from that plan.

About reigning from work don't do so yet till your aware of when you want to fly out to the states. Remember you have 6 months from the date the visa is issued to you to get all your stuff together give in resignation and fly out. Trust me that 6 month is nothing when you think of all what you need to do e.g sorting out apartment packing stuff in boxes dealing with getting some stuff shipped to the US. It's not enough time. So leave resignation till when you have your visa in hand and have planned what month your leaving to go.

How do you get where it says the dates of the timeline estimate? I have a timeline also but never saw the date of when it thinks she'll get her visa, etc.

Also!! Can someone tell me where to go to put my USCIS Receipt # and and back up x # to see how far they are before the NVC gets to mine? I got NOA2 approval on July 29, and the hardcopy 4 days later on 8/2. Do they always go in sequential # regarding the USCIS receipt #'s? I called NVC today and they haven't got my packet yet, and was told that instead of 3 wks (I thought it was 2), now it's 8!! (GASP!)

I got my NOA1 around May 3 I believe so do I count as a May filer too?

Please note. The timeline is a estimate of when a case is due to be adjucated to receive the approval which is the Noa2. Timeline does not indicate when visa is to be issued. That is something that will spend on how quick or how slow your file get forwarded to you consulate and how quick or slow you get your documents together and medical and interview done. hMM, All it told me when I checked was: Your I-129f was approved in 87 days from your NOA1 date.

So how do I make it tell me an actual date like it did for you? Also, do I count as a May or April filer? I want to make sure I am in the right thread!

I am not sure if you count as a May or April filer. I guess it depends on the date USCIS received it? Like Nurseling said, the timeline is only for the approval of the petition, not the visa. It says what it does because you've already received your NOA2. It still is in progress for me - my petition has not yet been approved.

01/24/2015: Green Card / 2 Year Permanent Resident Card received.

12/05/2016: Filed I-751 Removal of Conditions.

12/24/2016: NOA1 received.

01/09/2017: Biometrics Appointment.

11/10/2017: I-751 approval letter received (No Interview Required)!!

11/30/2017: 10yr Green Card produced & mailed.

Oh I see! So it only estimates it up to the NOA2 date...... okay.

*clears throat*

Can someone tell me where to go to put my USCIS Receipt # and and back up x # to see how far they are before the NVC gets to mine?

I'd still like to know where to put my USCIS Receipt # to search for where they are on the list though............. Nurseling i think u were telling me something about that before... thanks!!

Please note. The timeline is a estimate of when a case is due to be adjucated to receive the approval which is the Noa2. Timeline does not indicate when visa is to be issued. That is something that will spend on how quick or how slow your file gets forwarded to you consulate and how quick or slow you get your documents together and medical and interview done. The change of timeline pertains to those who are still awaiting their noa2. Hope that helps you to understand. Furthermore there is no way to find out unless you call NVC if you have been assigned a Case number at such short notice. you were approved on the 29th july it will take atleast 2 weeks if not more for your case to be forwarded to nvc and probably a few more weeks for nvc to send to your consulate. the only thing you can do at this point is to wait and call them every week to see if your case has been assigned a case number. Currently they say 8 weeks also bare in mind that it could take up to 8 weeks.

Hi guys! Received rfe notice today. How long before we can receive it in the mail? CSC filer here. TY!: )
