Hey guys,

I need to know if someone was put in AP because of missing document or sponsor...If so how long did it take to receive the visa after submitting the documents?

If you submitted the documents and you still didn't get it issued, For how long have you been waiting?

Am i the only one here in this situation ?

Good luck

My husband needed another co sponsor as the co said the one we had was not sufficient. She lacked about 600$ so my friend sent another i864 and added her 401k which brought her above 28,612 over for 4 people.I don't know if that helps out but we also did call the embassy when we knew the package arrived there.A lady called my husband 3 days after it arrived to the embassy in cairo and told my husband the co said find another co sponsor can't be the same one. So we are in process sending the new co sponsor's i864 which he is over for 2 people 11612$ so we are hoping the co accepts it and after we will see how long it takes to issue the visa. Good luck

I was a cosponsor for a friend of mine who brought his wife over from Russia. They had been waiting for something like a year and a half and had already been through a couple of RFEs, the last of which was actually at his wife's interview, when they demanded a joint sponsor. I gave my friend all my paperwork, and two weeks from the day he mailed it out, his wife had her visa actually in hand. He got text notification on a Tuesday morning confirming she was approved, and the visa arrived the following day.

I hope you're as lucky! I think my friend had been through every other possible snag he could've hit, and this was literally the last roadblock they could throw at him. I was really thorough with the documentation I provided, and the result was pretty much instantaneous. Best wishes!
