about mailing address...

hi vj viewers....

i have a question...

i filed my i-130 on my previous address at 531 colorado river blvd apt 8 reno nv 89502. and then i purchased a p o box at post office to change address....

at uscis....

and now i live at my new address coz i move apt but i already updated it when i move here...

and now i have my noa 2 and its approve and my mailing address is the p o box...

my question is what will i use in my mailing address on affidavit of support.. and ds-230 to send in nvc>

the p o box or my current address ryt now.....?

On your forms you should always put your current permanent address. If the NVC is not aware of your address change you can always call them or email them and ask them how you can provide them with your new current address. It is different in every case. In my case I had to inform the embassy not the NVC, so I called the embassy and they provided me with the instructions on what to do. Hope this helps. When all else fails, call the necessary offices, and 90% of the time they are more than happy to help you resolve your situation. Regards!

You can only use one mailing address, which ever one you prefer. Also never post your address on a public forum smile.png

12/2009 - Interview (2nd time) APPROVED! VISA ISSUED

02/2010 - Arrived USA

4/19/2010-Sent to Chicago Lockbox

4/26/2010-Received texts and emails 7th day

4/30/2010-Received NOA's(Hardcopies) 11th day

5/3/2010-Received ASC appointment notice(mailed 4/29/2010)14th day

5/7/2010-Walk-in Biometrics done(2 weeks earlier)18th day

5/13/2010-Case transferred to CSC

6/2/2010- Case received/resumed at CSC

6/18,6/22,6/23 AOS touches

6/28/2010- EAD production and touch on AP

6/29/2010-AOS APPROVED

7/2/2010- 2nd update on EAD production and touched on AP....

7/6/2010- Received "Welcome Letter" and AP document

7/12/2010-Received GREEN CARD and EAD

so i can use my current address now even though on my noa 2.. my p o box is my mailing address there....

Yes, but you have to inform the necessary people at the NVC or embassy depending on where your case is at this point, that your current address has changed. Best of luck
