Hey everyone

I just received my NOA1 for my ROC. My driver's license will expire in 2 months, but I wanted to go ahead and try to renew it next week. Have any of you had any luck renewing your license with the NOA1?

if they didn't allow me to renew my license with the NOA1 is there any other way I can show proof of my legal status so I can get a new license? Thanks

This is dependent on your state really and what the DMV would accept.

Your I-129f was approved in 5 days from your NOA1 date.

Your interview took 67 days from your I-129F NOA1 date.

AOS was approved in 2 months and 8 days without interview.

ROC was approved in 3 months and 2 days without interview.

I am a Citizen of the United States of America. 04/16/13

Depends on your state. In CA, we get something in the mail indicating that the DL is expiring, to go ahead and renew it. I've never been asked again for proof of legal prescence. Once I got my DL, I got it. I've renewed a few times now without issue or request for proof of legal presence That is provided to get the DL not renew.

Check with you local DMV
