Tried posting this a few times with no luck, hopefully this works

Hi Everyone,

I just got to the US and am about to send off my AOS. I am sending off my DS3025 and I heard on here that I need a second dose of MMR or the box marked insufficient time interval checked.

I have neither but do have the box at the bottom that says applicant is eligible for blanket waiver as shots are not medically appropriate. The Dr in Sydney also assured me I was good to go.

Not sure whether to go to a CS and get that second shot or just send my DS3025 as is.

Any advice or VJers with experience or knowledge on this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks heaps guys.

We did the follow ups at the local county health clinic. My 3 shots cost 23 dollars. Later at the AOS meeting they weren't interested in the medical at all. Not one question.

I am starting to think I may just send in my DS3025 and hopefully I will be OK. I am in two minds though.

Do you only have one MMR shot on there or 2? The 864 is the worst. I find the aff of support to be the most difficult of all the forms to complete!

In Australia I went to my GP and had a blood test done. The results showed I had immunity to Rubella and Measles but not Mumps so I had him give me the MMR shot. I wasn't aware of, nor had a second shot. I can't tell you what my DS-3025 actually has on it, as I (hopefully not stupidly) sent the original DS-3025 with my I-485 and failed to keep photocopies. I am guessing it would only say 1 shot, as that is all I have had.

It looks like Dr. Waks prepared yours the same as he did mine, like I said, it seems to have been accepted by USCIS at this stage.

Hope this helps some way.

It does and I am sure you are fine. I am guessing they would have given you a RFE for the DS3025 at the same time as your 485 so you should be good to go.

You will sort out the I485 stuff too. From what I have read things start to move a little faster now that they have your file so you should have your GC in no time!!

Thanks David. I know things will work out, just gotta jump through a few more hoops. It is good to know someone is looking at my file. Fingers crossed we will have an interview at the Helena Office and not get an interview waiver and have it processed at the NBC....seems those are taking a looong time. We went to Helena, 4 hours away, on Tuesday for our Biometrics. The office was dead quiet and the staff there were SUPER nice! They had scheduled mine on Tuesday and the kids for 9am, 10am and 11am wednesday, but they did us all together when we arrived on Tuesday, so that was great. We were in and out in about 45mins for all 4 of us.

Good luck to you too and congrats for your Marriage!

I sent only the DS3025 without even getting the last shot even though the last shot is written in that form. I don't have any issues.
