Is it a problem if I've been to the USA 5 times to meet my boyfriend but he's never been to my country (he has asthma, needs to get checked etc)?

Do I have to send a check with my documents? If so what does he have to write down on it?

My boyfriend's been working on a full time job since this year, hasn't filed for taxes: can he still sponsor me?

And are these the right addresses?

1. Meeting only in the US is not a problem.

2. Yes

3. Yes, as long as he still has the job when it comes time to fill in the I-134 several months down the road. He can write a letter explaining why he was not required to file taxes in the past, and include paystubs and a letter from his employer to show he is now stably employed.

I'm not sure what country you're coming from, but from what I understand, you only need to have met once in 2 years. I don't think it matters where you had face to face, so long as you had it (and the documented proof).

As for the check, when you file the I-129f, a payment does have to be made. I do however think it has to be drawn on a US bank.

About the income requirements, again, I think this will have a lot to do with what country you're from. From what I've read, different embassies do and accept different things. But as a general rule, as long as he makes over the poverty limit for his household size, he should be able to sponsor you.

And yes, the addresses are correct. USCIS site

Your fiance has to be the one to file for you, and I believe the check must be drawn from a US bank.

Ask in the Italian specific region forum about the sponsorship for a better answer, but if his current job is above the poverty line and he can provide a letter from employer and recent paystubs in addition to tax returns, he should be fine.

I am the USC/petitioner.
