1. I assume there should be no issue doing the counseling in one location...while receiving the CFO sticker in a different location?

I was browsing and someone recommended this to me. I finally received NOA2 notification and waiting for the next packet. Our address is hard to find and sometimes, items I order online from US never gets here, so I was thinking I will never receive the letter as well. Thanks Hank for this is very helpful!

12/09/2013 - Green Card was mailed!

12/11/2013 - GC received! 2 months and 1 day from the NOA1

For sure don't wait for the letter from the embassy.

Have your fiancé email NVC also, that way you will have a correspondence with NVC that has your MNL # on it - just in case he never gets the letter from NVC.

Once you have the MNL # everything moves quickly and as for the embassy everything is online.

I agree with Hank_, It goes fast after the NVC case number. It took 13 days to get my case number (I called NVC). My NOA2 was May 28th. My fiancee's interview in Manila is scheduled for July 1st (actually...Jun 30th US time). So...34 days NOA2 to interview!!!

My original interview date was scheduled for July 29th, but I was able to reschedule to July 1st when this date suddenly became available in the online Embassy appointment system..
