Hi Everyone.

We are recent NOA2 recipients and will have an interview at the Rio de Janeiro consulate at some point in the near future.

My 2011 and 2012 are small, and probably under the poverty live because I did not work from mid-2011 to mid-2012, precisely because I was in Brazil on and off with my partner there.

I currently work full time and make enough money now.

I am still going to use a financial sponsor, clearly.

So for the people that have....is just one sufficient?

Is it possible or even necessary to use two?

How much will this hurt you in the interview (assuming that I am gainfully employed at the time)? That is, the idea of using a financial sponsor and showing 2011 and 2012 gross incomes that are lower than the acceptable level.

Current income is what is most important. Provide a letter from your employer and most recent pay stub(s) to prove what your current income is. A co-sponsor may not even be required since your current income meets the requirements. However, if you want to use a co-sponsor just in case, then you will have only one with the I-134. They do the same as you and fill out their own I-134 and provide most recent tax transcript, proof of current income and proof of being a USC or LPR.
