Hi all,

Currently waiting on our email from NVC so that our attorney can go ahead and submit the necessary paperwork. Our case number was assigned last week. We have requested an expedite as I am currently 7 months pregnant and no thanks to the hold ups at VSC we are cutting it very fine for me to be able to get to the USA within my allowed flying times.

We received an email from NVC this morning saying our request was being reviewed, but gave no timeline as to when we would actually know if the expedite was approved. I called NVC and they said it is the embassy who gives the 'ok' for the expedite to go ahead, and so the NVC must wait to hear back from them...

I called the embassy and they have not received a request to expedite......

If anyone has experience with this or knows anything about expected timelines I would really appreciate it!

Becky :help:

Call and speak with a supervisor at NVC. It sounds like they haven't forwarded your request to the embassy yet. It took NVC seven days to forward my expedite request and then it took 48 hours for NVC to receive a response from the embassy.

Our expedite was approved today! Our file was shipped straight to the London Embassy today from the NVC. Looks like all our paperwork should be sent directly there. Hoping for a quick interview date!!
