Consulate Review: London, United Kingdom Review Topic: IR-1/CR-1 Visa Event Description Review Date : May 3, 2013 Embassy Review : Had my interview today and everything went well! Had my approval and it wasn't scary at all. My appointment was at 9am and I arrived at 8.15am. Waited outside in the line for 25 mins, so I would advise that anyone attending plan to get in line early as it was quite slow. Was called to a booth at 9am and the lady there was very nice. She took all my papers and then I sat back down. An hour and 15 mins later I was called up again for a short interview with another lady. All very basic information asked. She did ask me if my husband was in the military or if he was living in the UK, neither of which are true. Wasn't sure if these were trick questions or if she was genuinely confused!! In total the interview was about 5 minutes long. She told me I was approved and then sent me to sort out the delivery of my passport with the courier service. I was out by 10.45am. Hope this helps!!!
