I came to the states with a 6 month B-2 tourist visa in May 28 2012.

I got married to my husband, a us citizen on November 19 2012.

Now I am preparing the forms in order to change my status and everything else that is needed.

2 questions;

1) my Us husband made a money order for 1490$. is it ok or should we send them two? one for the i-130 and another for the i-485??

2) how many pictures of me do I need to send? (I'm the alien) 1 for G-325 with the i-130 ,1 for the G-325 with the i-485, 2 for the i-485, and 2 for the i-765??

1. Too much money, you need 1070 I think. The fees for the AP and EAD are waived if you apply for all 3 at the same time.

2. I sent 6, other sent 2 but I wanted to be on the safe side. Since the AP and EAD card are the same, I think 4 will work.

You are in the wrong area, there is one sub forum about adjusting from tourist visas. We are adjusting here from fiance(e) visas mostly. Good luck.

AOS/EAD/AP [*] 04 February 2013 - AOS/EAD/AP package sent; [*] 07 February 2013 - AOS/EAD/AP package delivered; [*] 12 February 2013 - NOA1 text messages/emails; [*] 16 February 2013 - NOA1 received in the regular mail; [*] 28 February 2013 - Biometrics letter received (appointment date, March 8th); [*] 04 March 2013 - Biometrics walk-in completed (9 out of 10 fingerprints taken, pinky would not give in); [*] 04 April 2013 - EAD/AP card approved; [*] 11 April 2013 - Combo card sent/tracking number obtained; [*] 15 April 2013 - Card delivered.

[*] 15 May 2013 - Moved from MN to LA; [*] 17 May 2013 - Applied for a new SS card/filed an AR-11 online (unsuccessfully), therefore called and spoke to a Tier 2 and changed the address; [*] 22 May 2013 - Address updated on My Case Status (finally can see the case numbers online); [*] 28 May 2013 - Letter received in the mail confirming the change of address; [*] 31 July 2013 - Went to Romania; [*] 12 September 2013 - returned to the US using the AP, POE Houston, everything went smoothly; [*] 20 September 2013 - Spoke to a Tier2 and put in a service request; [*] 23 September 2013 - Got "Possible Interview Waiver" letter (originally sent on August, 29th to my old address, returned and re-routed to my current address); [*] 1 October 2013 - Started a new job.

1) You are right about the fees: $1070 for AOS+EAD+AP. $420 for the I-130. I do not know if you can pay all in one order or if you need to separate in 2 money orders. I'm sure someone else will tell you about it. :)

2) Read the Guide: http://www.visajourney.com/content/i130guide2

It's 2 for the AOS, 2 for EAD, 2 for AP. 1 from you, and 1 from your US spouse, for the I-130.

If you apply for AP (I-131), be sure to send your whole package before you reach your 180 days of overstay. Otherwise your AP will be granted, but it would be very risky to use it.

K-1 Visa Timeline AOS Timeline

- Aug 31st, 2011 - Mailed I-129F package - May 29th, 2012 - Mailed AOS/EAD/AP package

- Apr 13th, 2012 - Visa received - Aug 24th, 2012 - Green Card received

ROC Timeline

- May 19th, 2014 - Mailed ROC package to CSC

- Aug 8th, 2014 - Green Card received

N-400 Timeline

- Dec 29th, 2021 - Filed online. Got notice that biometrics will be reused.
