Hi there to All Vj Members,

Greetings!

Finally i got my Interview schedule in 2 days from now.. I cant wait this to Happen! so excited and feeling little nervous about it.. Hoping for the Approval :) Once i will approved i will give u all guys for the update on how my interview went thru and also i need your advice for my coming interview at the Us consulate Manila... Finally i am on the end :) Hoping for the best & visa stamp on my Passport Finally.. good.gifgood.gif

Interview questions just a piece of cake! Just be confident in answering their questions be concise, make sure you have all the docs needed, know everything about your fiancé and SMILE.

How long did it take for you to get your interview after the paper work was received?

I have filed the I-130 for the CR1 Marriage Visa,

Hi there Jgreg,

Greetings! we file our CR-1 around Oct 9, 2013 being a DCF filer at the USEM Manila .We receive Noa1 after a month and Noa2 after 1 month and also after 2 week from No2 got letter from mail saying we need to make an appointment for medical and also for making interview online...

Hope this give u idea..

We just got done with our visa interview and passed...... :D We did St Luke's Monday and Tuesday visa interview on Thursday for those on a budget all St Luke's needs is a day to get your info. to the embassy. if you don't pass your medical you can cancel your visa interview.

Congratulations!!! Please share what you learn with the rest of us.

I did not meet the income guidelines, however I was able to to show assets that satisfied them.

I made two trips to manila from Bacolod City, one for filing the petition, and one for the medical and interview. Just make sure you have all the requirements to show the consul general at the embassy.if you don't have the income requirements you will need a co sponsor.

also If you do not meet the income guidelines or have enough assets, a co-sponsor will be required. to claim assets you will need 3x the amount needed let's say if you have 100/3=33.33 every $100 is only worth $33.33. you will have to prove you have the assets needed with 12 month statements.

The I-864 asks for copies of last 3 years tax returns. they only needed the most resent year.
