Hello Everyone,

I am currently in the NVC process for Montreal. My husband (USC), has not had a job for about 3 years and has not filed any taxes in that time. He recently got a job from his father's friend. He just gets paid cash and there is no record that he was officially hired by him. His step brother is willing to be a joint sponsor. My questions are

Is my husband still required to fill out the I-864?

What would I put for his employment as he has no pay stubs?

How do I go about filling out his tax return history?

Thanks for your time everyone :)

Your husband is still primary sponsor and needs to fill in a I-864. Since he was not required to file for past years (I assume the new job started this year), he can submit an explanation as to why he did not file instead of tax returns. You put "unemployed".
