Married two days after re-entering on my F1

I'm currently on an F1 visa and looking to Adjust my status before I finish my PhD.

I got married to my wife (US citizen) on May 29, 2012 in New York.

My then fiance and I went for a sort of pre-honeymoon to Montreal beforehand and I re-entered the US on my F1 on May 27, 2012. At the time I had no intention to emigrate to the US, as we planned to move to Australia when I finished my studies, but I'm concerned that the juxtaposition of the dates will look very suspicious.

Any advice on whether this will affect my application or whether there is some information I can provide in the packet to try to explain?

Won't be an issue, especially if you weren't questioned in detail about your intentions at the port of entry.

OK. Thanks.

I definitely wasn't questioned about it on entry.

Shouldn't have a problem. It sounds like you continued going to school anyway, right? Didn't just enter, get married, stop going to school? (Even so, you'd probably be fine, but would look more suspicious.)
