I sent in mine via expedited on 2/27/2013 and received the passport on 3/6/2013 so it was pretty quick. The certificate arrived on 3/8/2013.

Hope this helps

Paid expedient for my wife, didn't for my daughter, daughter's came in quicker than my wife's. All depends upon how busy they are and where your application ends up. In Wisconsin, wife's ended up in New Orleans, daughter in Chicago. Don't ask me why.

Or you can go to a local passport agency and get your passport the same day. This is the information for the Denver office. See if you can find one near you. This is the information you need for applying in person.

Good luck,

Dave

you can only do that if you were travelling in the next 14 days, you would need to prove that!

According to the website information, travel documents are not required, but the passport will be ready in 5 business day not the same day as I stated. If you want same day service your tavel plans need to be within 5 days and it is strongly recommended that you bring proof. So you can use the service, but the passport will take 5 days.
