Hello everyone!! This is my first topic on this forum. I am just curious to know, approx when I would receive NOA2??? My NOA1 date is 16th Jan 2013. I wish to be with my fiance on or before his b'day. His b'day is in August. Taking my NOA1 date into consideration, Is there any possibility that I would be with him on that day?

Well first thing s first, what is you service enter Vermont or California. Vermont recipt numbers start with eac california starts with WAC. This information would be helpful in answering you question, also please update it in your profile. I would say no there is basically no chance of your petition being approved before then as time to recipt of noa2 is currently about 7ish months. Sorry to burst your bubble B-)

If you complete your timeline, you'll get an estimation of when you may receive your NOA2. Note that NOA2 is just approval of the petition, and you'll have to then add on extra time for processing at your local embassy to get medical, interview and finally visa-in-hand.

And yes my receipt number starts with EAC... so now what does that mean???

That means it's gone to Vermont.

Bear in mind that whatever it predicts, you'll still need to add on more time for processing at your local consulate for medical, interview and actually getting your visa in your passport.

Yes...after going thru everybody's experiences, I am getting prepared...

it least 6 months for processing but keep 7 months in your mind and then 2 months for consulate. Hope you get it soon.
