  1. 1. What date will CSC "say" they are working on for January?

    • Unchanged (July 18)
      22
    • Some nominal amount, say less than 10 days (<July 28)
      25
    • between 11days and a month
      7
    • one month progress (August 18)
      7
    • On time! (within 5 month processing goal)
      2
    • Some time after August 18

So, the data should be updated tomorrow on the USCIS website. (This page, select CSC service center processing dates).

Based on VJ data (total quantity processed), they have not moved very far from July 18. In fact, by all appearances, they are working on a small # of cases at a normal pace, and those cases seem to have more "normal" NOA2 times, but the majority of people with NOA1 since July 18 are still waiting. So its really hard to guess what will be claimed. Especially if you consider what that data is "supposed" to mean:

If the office is processing a particular type of application in less time than our processing goal, you will see the processing times expressed in months (for example, if the office is processing naturalization applications in less than our 5 month goal, the processing time will state "Five Months"). However, if that office is taking longer than our processing goal to handle the form type in question, you will see the filing date (e.g., "April 10, 2003") of the last case we processed on the date the website chart was last updated. The charts are updated on or about the 15th day of each month.

I'm not sure I get what it is supposed to mean  The date of the cases they were working on Jan 31? Jan 15? The last update says Dec 31, so???

Based on the quantity of applications they are processing, I would guess that it should only be some nominal amount (less than 10 days beyond July 18). But who knows what they will try to claim. You can see form the NOA2's that are getting processed, they span well beyond, into August. For my sake, I hope they claim later in August, so I can at least file with my congressman's office, and they can humor me with a meaningless service request.

I know it was last updated on Feb. 5th, but is it really updated every month on the 5th? It says "charts are updated on or about the 15th day of each month." I never paid attention to it before last month, because it had always said 5 months.

I vote no change and not updated.

Here is a past history of updates.

Hmmm, that wasn't one of my poll options (unchanged really meant the chart is updated, but they still have July 18)...I'll try to add that option to the poll.

Eh, cant edit the poll now...

I think unchanged is good enough. Still means they have done nothing meaningful in the past month.

That pretty much describes CSC in their K1 processing

If it's possible for the CSC to go back in time, they will.

i think they will not update it by march 5 because of this...

USCIS ELIS Maintenance Outage Scheduled on March 10

The USCIS Electronic Immigration System (USCIS ELIS) will be temporarily off line on Sunday, March 10 from 4 a.m. to 2 p.m. EST as we update the system.

We regret any inconvenience and encourage customers to try again later in the day.

i am just guessing... but i am still hoping too that they will have a better update. :)

Probably July 19th. For all of January I was told that they were working on July 17th, then it got updated to the 18th a month later and it seems like things haven't picked up at all.

So now we all eagerly await USCIS to update it's chart rather than awaiting our NOA2's  Seems that is more likely to happen than them processing my application!

By the way, I notice cereal you haven't started a timeline yet. Please do one. It helps the figures.

We are all in the same boat of waiting aimlessly here:( as one fellow member eloquently described, CSC is in comatose mode

i just hope and pray they get going pretty soon as we all could use some cheering up:( :(

i vote on less than 10 days or some nominal amount because that would mean they are on our case:)
