I-94 question

Hi,

I am collecting all the information for AOS and filling in all the documents. They ask a copy of I-94. The only I-94 I still have is the small ´departure record´ that the officer stapled in my passport. Is that the form they want me to copy?

Yes, make copy of both sides for your i-485, I-765, and i-131.

I don't see a problem with removing the staple. My wife's I-94 was not stapled to her passport, but just stuck in between a couple of pages. I made a copy of it when she first arrived just in case we lost it. I had her put it in a safe drawer until the AOS interview where they kept it.

Suggest that you leave your Form I-94 as is in your passport. You never know the requests/inquiries of the USCIS interview officer. Let them remove it from your passport.
