Here's a PDF with a list of fees by form. If you know what forms, you should be able to figure out the fees

http://www.uscis.gov/files/form/g-1055.pdf

I'm sure I will miss some, but off the top of my head, these are the fees I can think of as far as filing goes. There will be additional fees for police certificates, you may need certified copies of birth certificates or divorce decrees, and there's the medical as well. These will vary by person and country.

I-129F filing fee - $340.00

I-485 AOS fee - $985 + $85 for biometrics

There are also forms you may file so you will be eligible for employment and so you may travel outside the US while waiting for your greencard, there may be fees for these, but they are waived if you apply along with the I-485.

There are also fees paid by the beneficiary

I don't know if they may vary by country, but here's the link to the london embassy where I found our fees. You can probably look at the embassy page where you are filing and find out your exact fees.

http://london.usembassy.gov/immigrant-visas/iv_fees.html

K visa applicants - $ 240.00

I believe there is also this new immigration fee, although I'm still confused about whether it is charged for K-1 applicants or not, but it won't hurt to add it in just in case.

On Feb. 1, 2013, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) will begin collecting a new USCIS Immigrant Fee of $165 from foreign nationals seeking permanent residence in the United States

That's all I can think of off the top of my head. Hopefully others will be able to add further for you. Hope this helps

The new fee doesn't apply to K-1 because K-1 is a nonimmigrant visa :)

That's my assumption as well, but I read a discussion on here the other day where someone with a K-1 was being asked to pay it. I am figuring that t's not a fee I'll have to pay, but I figure it's better to be prepared to pay it and not owe it then not be prepared and find out that you do. Since the OP seems to be attempting to figure total costs, I figured it would help to have that number. Certainly won't hurt :)

Once you're done with the AOS you have the ROC fee too. They get you coming and going!

I'm still early in the journey, what exactly is the ROC and when is it due? Thanks

The green card you receive when you AOS from a K-1 is good for 2 years (because the marriage is less than 2 years at the time of AOS, generally). It's a conditional green card, so 3 months before its expiration, you need to file for Removal of Conditions (ROC) to get a 10-year green card.

After that, you either choose to renew your green card every 10 years, or you can apply for citizenship if you are still married to your US citizen spouse, and at least after 3 years of permament residency (so one year after ROC).

New fees involved for sure. :P
