hello my VJ friends i want firstable to thank you for your replies and help...i got the approval i-130.....i know about it from my timeline uscis and i received email ..but im wondering now after 7 days since my approval and i did not receive any thing (notice ...letter ....instructions...) is that normal to wait for soo long like couple weeks please i need help here ....thank you all god bless you

it takes anywhere from 2 weeks to a month before the NVC assigns a case number after the approval of a petition. According to your timeline it has been 3 days, not a week. I would start calling the NVC after 2 weeks to ask for a case number, March 6 will be 2 weeks for you,

When I had my I-130 approved, they send me the NOA and a letter from the NVC that the case had been transferred. But it took about 3-4 weeks before you get it from the NVC.
