Pls can smbody help me here I'm still on AP even after my 2 yrs of marriage.I had my interview on nov 2012. And was placed on AP but I just recently celebrated my 2 yrs wedding anniversary.pls I want to know if anyone has been on Ap even after his 2nd year anniversary and if I have the chances of been called up soon.thanks

Has less to do with how long you've been married, and more to do with checking up on sources to make sure you're not a threat, not a criminal, not a politically foreign exposed person, etc.. Some people get put into AP for months. But if there is no reason to deny you, the wait will eventually come to a happy ending. Unfortunately, usually nothing can be done about AP.

03/23/2022: Application for passport submitted at USPS facility under standard processing.

04/04/2022: Status changed to “The U.S. Department of State has received your application for your passport book on 04/04/2022. We're now reviewing your application and supporting documents...Your application locator number is 51*******.

04/04/2022: Check for passport cashed.

05/03/2022: Status changed to "The U.S. Department of State approved your application for your passport book. We're now printing your passport book and preparing to give it to you. You should receive your passport book on or around 05/09/2022."

05/05/2022: Passport Received.

05/09/2022: SSA Citizenship Status Updated.

05/25/2022: Naturalization Certificate received in mail.

Unfortunately, the time on AP has nothing to do with how long you have been married. AP depends on what they are checking and how long it will take them to complete the investigation. Sometimes it takes up to a year or longer... :crying: NO one can give you an exact date. Be patient and pray. Sometimes having petitioner have the congressman/woman get involved or a Senator. But ultimately, it takes as long as it will to complete your case. Good luck.
