I'm having trouble finding any answers for processing times of the I-130 in the Chicago Lockbox. I have looked all over. We got the receipt for it but it's not in their system yet. Hoping no news is good news. Since we did it ourselves without a lawyer and so many say that's not a good thing it's making me paranoid. I know many of you have done it all on your own too and so grateful I have your answers to so many other questions but I just couldn't find this one. Being separated from your husband is not easy, but it certainly would be easier if I had an estimate of how long it will take or notice from them that it was in their system.

I've tried the case # thing but even when I called she told me I have to wait 45 days before they will even look into it. I get it was just wishful thinking.

I know he should have never gone back but he had to, to wrap things up so now we wait apart just hoping one of you can point me to estimate time of how long it will take?

There are no processing times for lockbox thats just where petitions go and from there they get sent to service centers. You already have case number. What are the first 3 letters? Thats your service center and thats what you should change your timeline to like EAC is Vermont Service Center, WAC is California Service Center, NBC Nationa Nenefits Center (alot lately been going there). Once you put the correct service center you should get an estimate.

Thats Missouri Service Center. Change your time line to MSC to get estimates. Even though many go to MSC or NBC but end up ay their local USCIS office sometimes you just don't know. But change to MSC.

When I go here https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/processTimesDisplayInit.do the MSC doesn't list I-130, that's where I was getting stuck. Silly things, thanks for trying to help everyone!

The USCIS would have to edit their systems to do that and because a lot of the local offices adjudicate the cases vs the actual NBC, they'd have to change all the local office pages too. People might even start trying to just drop them off at a local office vs mailing to the lockbox and then the USCIS would lose control of the basics (assigning numbers and taking your money.) It would be MAYHEM! LOL
