PLEASE I HAVE ANOTHER QUESTION;;;;;CAN SOMEONE GIVE ME AGOOD LAWYERS IN ORLANDO KISSIMMEE WE NEED IT ACTUALY WE R WORKING WITH AN IDIOT AND STUPID ONE

Hey... are you sure you really need a lawyer?

Unless your case is really complicated, you don't need a lawyer... Why trust someone you don't know better than yourself to get info you can get here? (but, I am not a very trusting person, I don't trust lawyers, I don't trust doctors, I don't trust webdesigner... Most of all, I don't trust a title. This is not because someone has a fancy name on their businesscard that they know what they are doing. I prefer to get info from the source....)

Good luck in your visa journey!

From the day we sent I-129F to the day I recieved my K-1: Exactly 9 months
I am the benifeciary

Why do you need a lawyer? Most god immigration lawyers specialise in certain things, such as overstay waivers, or whatever. Also keep in mind that immigration law is federal, so you could hire a lawyer across the country to work for you.

when i considered having an attorney it seemed like i would still be doing everything myself and they would just be re checking it and mailing it out. I would suggest that whatever your concerns are about forms or whatnot, you can most likely find the answers here. We did. Even if you have an attorney, i dont think it guarantees you wont get and RFE so IMO save your $ and try your best to finish it w/o. I know im speaking from my own experience and so if the added security of havin an attorney makes it easier on you than that is whats best. I wish i knew an attorney to recommend. Best of luck with everything!!

You do not need a Lawyer a K-1,can go from NOA1 to the covsulate, it does stop at NVC momentarily to be processed and get a interview date assigned but if the interview date waiting list is too long they just forward it to the consulate and let them contact you with setting up an interview date this is not uncommon. Morocco is setting interview dates two months out. The first two weeks of March they will set April's dates.

You can always track the petition by the NOA1 tracking number.

Good luck,

Dear OP

We have used an lawyer, more for are own peace of mind and that my future mother in law was very insistent so a few hundred bucks to keep her quiet was well worth it.

He is called Sergey Basyuck based in Washington DC.

He has been very useful, we communicate via skype, and email, he has prepared all the documents, gone through interview preperation, written letters to help me clear immigration when I visited. We also ensured that all documents where ready and waiting for when NOA2 arrives.

He is very nice and friendly.

Good luck

If you are at your NOA2 stage you are well on your way! If you were approved Feb. 6 NVC should have it, or be very close to having it. It takes about a week or a bit more for NVC to receive it, they then pass it on to the US consulate where you reside. Your fiance can get together his I-134 right now and send all his papers to you. At this stage you don't need a lawyer.

Even the I134 is not difficult to fill out. Two years ago and even last year, the Moroccan embassy was using both forms the i134 and the I864 as well, so you never really know which affidavit form they use. On my fiances interview, the i864 was asked for and then we had to use it again for adjustment of status when we got married. So be prepared to have both forms filled out for the interview just in case.

You should have him come on here with his questions and forget about spending the extra money for a lawyer. That extra money for the lawyer could go toward your wedding or something special when you arrive here (maybe toward a nice honeymoon as well)smile.gif
