That would be super lucky and super unlikely - TSC transfers to CSC.

I know that most of the K1s are transferred to CSC, but I am wondering whether any are ever transferred to VSC. I am just wondering whether it is even possible that our K1 might be transferred to VSC, where they seem to actually process petitions.

You are asking a government agency to do something that might be even somewhat rational. Sorry I had to laugh....

YMMV

It's not a matter of 'most' applications being forwarded to CSC. It's -all- applications from NSC and TSC going to CSC. So, unfortunately, you don't have a snowball's chance in hell of getting transferred to VSC. Unless you happen to know Satan, and if you do, please hook up the rest of us. (This last sentence is a joke! Seriously!)

I have read at least two cases very recently (in NOV) which transferred from CSC to VSC. Very interesting. I actually think they're listening to our complaints. My suspicion is that there will be more cases transferred from the other SCs to VSC in the future. But we'll have to see in the coming months if it really pans out. This is my suspicion, not a statement of fact.

I'm fairly sure those transfers were AOS or K3 apps - not K-129Fs for fiances - but not 100% sure. Definitely not the norm anyway.

I went back trying to find the specific posts (on another website) and I can't find it now. So I can't say if they are or are not AoS or K3 petitions. Perhaps. And I do agree that it's not normal--in the historical sense.

Ok, I found it again. It's comfirmed. Some K1s are being transferred to VSC. Another person got their case transferred to VSC.

"On November 9, 2006, we transferred your I129F PETITION FOR FIANCE(E) to an office in VERMONT SERVICE CENTER for processing. Our office in VERMONT SERVICE CENTER will send you a written decision as soon as processing is complete. You should receive a notice informing you that your case has been transferred to a local office."

I'm curious, because this is on another site and we really can't varify anything... are you sure that CSC in that case is California Service Center? I've heard a lot of people refer to Chicago Service Center as CSC. I've also heard of people who accidentally sending their K-1 apps to Chicago, getting NOA1s, and then getting transferred from there.

If they are transfering from California to Vermont, well I think that's good for those lucky few.

Damn! It may be from Chicago. I may be jumping the guns on this one.
