No news???

Allah tries his chosen people through many hardships, but those who persevere through adversity, surrendering themselves before the will of Allah, shall be blessed with a superb reward.

-The Prophet Muhammad (SAW), as reported by Anas bin Malik

A time will come when the sky is torn apart; when the stars scatter, and the ocean drains away; and when the graves are tossed about, and laid open. At that time every man will be told what he has done, and what he has failed to do; and every woman will be told what she has done, and what she has failed to do.

-Qur'an, Al-Infitar, Surah 82:1-5

Okay guys, sorry I haven't updated on the status yet. The interview is over, and we are pending the decision once they have the rest of the papers they need. Not good news not bad news, just nothing to report yet.

Trust me, once we have word I will be posting it everywhere!

Sorry for the drama, my life has been in an upheaval since my mothers death. I am really trying to find balance with all of the additional responsibilities since my dad is basically unable to care for himself since he had some pretty serious health issues last year. This has been a very difficult past year.

'Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - Chardonnay in one hand - chocolate in the other - body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming 'WOO HOO, What a Ride'

Thanks for the update M4E. I am glad it is not bad news, and I really believe you will have success time.

I wish I had some profound words to offer regarding your mother's death and father's care, but I don't. :( However, I know we always find a way to rise above the difficult times and usually come out stronger. I wish you the best.

Good to hear from you and know that at least you didn't get another denial. At this point, no bad news seems to be good news. Hopefully they will be satisfied soon and you and your husband can finally be together.

I'm really sorry about your mom. My brother took care of my grandfather after my grandmother passed and it was a lot of responsibility because my grandmother had done so much for him, and he was in good health. I can only imagine how much you have to do for your father, and I'm sure you are doing the best you can with all the other things you have on your plate right now.
