Hi fellow VJ members. My fiance just received the hard copy of NOA1.He said that the in the portion of benefiary the country of birth is unknown hence I checked my biographic data that I submitted and my country of birth is written as a matter of it is completely filled up.

I want to ask to those who received the hard copy of NOA1 if it is just normal to put unknown in the beneficiary's country of birth/plaace of birth.

Mine said the same thing about my fiance. Since I know I turned in the G-325a for both me and my fiance, I assumed it was normal.... would like confirmation on this as well though!

Others with more experience might disagree but my advice would be to contact them (the form requests you contact them if any information is incorrect). Our NOA1 had my wife's country of birth correctly completed.

It happend to a few other people. Just call the phone number that is on NOA1 and rectify that. Everything should be ok after.
