Okay,

I need specific help because my brain and memory have exhausted their limits because of this process.

 Can someone Please Give me specific instructions on what happens once your case leaves the NCV and goes to the embassy in Pakistan.

How do you check if they have recieved it?

Then, they email you some packet, does that packet need original signatures from the applicant (me) and the beneficiary?

Then we mail something back to the embassy and they send us back an interview date and a date we need to get the medical exam done by?

Also, how do you pay for the fee when you go to the consulate? in PKR? In dollars? If in dollars does anyone know a place in pakistan that gives out dollars?

Please someone help me to understand this I'm going to lose it! I need specifics because I feel like i'm stupid or something. :bonk::help:

Please and Thank You!

The NVC will send you a letter telling you what date they sent it to the Embassy, or you can also call them that way you can also get your case number. The 3.5 packet you will get in an e-mail. In that packet, it also tells you where he can get his medical done. You can pay the visa fee in both Rupees or Dollars.Remember also he needs his police records of cities he has lived more than 6 months. The packet will detail all you need. Don't stress!! All will be fine...

Please find omer1 in the member search tool,

and send him a PM. He knows all about it.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

How do you check if they have recieved it? You can and should call them. They can give you the date that they sent it to the Embassy as well as your Case # which is what you will need to track your Visa case from this point forward.

Then, they email you some packet, does that packet need original signatures from the applicant (me) and the beneficiary? They will email you with instructions on what to bring with you as well as information about the medical. There are also some forms online at the Embassy website that you will need to fill out and send back to them. These forms are only for the applicant's signature.

Then we mail something back to the embassy and they send us back an interview date and a date we need to get the medical exam done by? Once they recieve the forms (mentioned in previous question) they will send you a letter with the interview date and time. You will need to print this out and carry it with you to your interview in order to get access to the Embassy.

Also, how do you pay for the fee when you go to the consulate? in PKR? In dollars? If in dollars does anyone know a place in pakistan that gives out dollars? They take both PKR and Dollars, so no worries about exchanging to dollars if you don't have them.

I hope this information is helpful for you. My fiance was going for his interview this time last year, so if you have any specific question please don't hesistate to ask and I will share with you our expereience.

Best of Luck to you!
