Hello all!

We FINALLY got my husband's NOA2 last week (yay!) so I'm going to start giving NVC a call later this week to start asking about that assortment of different numbers we need to get together. The problem is, I'm in South America right now with my husband. When I had to call USCIS, it was okay because it was a 1800 number, and I used skype to call for free - however, I just noticed that the NVC number has a 603 area code

My question is, is there any way one of my parents could call? They're in the USA, and it would be considerably cheaper for them to call for the info. I know this is unlikely (typically it has to be me, my husband, or a lawyer), so does anybody know of any cheaper way to get ahold of NVC? I'm trying to figure out how I'll be able to call NVC (what I'm sure will be a hundred times by the time this is all over) without spending ridiculous amounts of money sitting on hold :(

Thanks for any help or suggestions!

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

hello good day can u give me some advice regarding my problem, nvc emailed me a letter and it stated there my case number etc.. this message is bothering me

IMPORTANT:
Do not let more than one year pass without contacting the NVC concerning
this visa petition. If a period of one year passes from the last date of
contact (by telephone, mail, or e-mail) with the NVC, all submitted fees
and documents expire. If this occurs, the fees must be paid again and
documents must be resubmitted in order to continue the immigration
process.

my priority date is dec 17 2012 and today is dec 2013 does will affect my visa application?
