Will the embassy be open on 7th jan ? If not then what should I do? Pray for me friends plz....... Thank in advance ....embassy is closed bcz of long march by Tahir ul qadrii......!

I'm in a similar situation now. Religious holiday in Pak on 25th now instead of 24. My fiancé has his interview on 25th. Embassy is closed and I emailed them about this and not sure what's gonna happen.

Seriously, you missed your interview; it was last Monday. But since you actually mean Jan. 17 - Asia gave you your answer.

you should proceed as planned if the embassy plans to be closed they will contact you to reschedule the appointment, and obviously if they are not able to contact you prior to the appointmnet you will find out when you get there.

Interview date 17th jan results Ap co gave me blue sheet and said we want some additional processing on ur case it takes two months may b less may b more we don't want any thing from u every thing is fine but just wait ......what the hell is this?

It seems thats the norm. They tell everyone that, but the time frame may be different. Hopefully it won't actually take that long for you.

Luckily the embassy was nice enough to not postpone my interview date to another month, and instead moved it closer by a day to the 24th. Lets see how much of an AP they put our case in.
