Hello everyone, My interview is scheduled for next week. I have a joint sponsor. On the US embassy website for my country it states that "IF you have a joint sponsor they should include a letter stating the relationship to you or your family and why they want to sponsor u". We have no idea on what reason to state for why my joint sponsor wants to sponsor me. please help me guys. this is very important. any little advice is appreciated

I would think the reason is they support you immigrating to the US that's why they are sponsoring you.

I would imagine that they are looking for something like

I , John Doe , am the uncle/childhood friend/close relative/?? of Jane Smith who petitioned their relative Sammy Smith and as Jane Smith falls short of the requirement to sponsor said relative I have agreed to be the joint sponsor out of friendship/?? for the family.

This will not be over quickly. You will not enjoy this.

i think thay want to know if your joint sponser is family or friend or who,must be a us citizen.and thay want to know how to fine the joint sponser if there is a claim means tested,this is my opinion and not legal advice.
