Hi everyone,

I posted before about getting my NOA2 on Dec. 10th but it hasn't made it to NVC yet. Till now it's still not there! I got my congressman involved. Someone from the office and the vermont center told her it was already sent soon after the approval and then she called NVC and was told that it takes 20 business days for the processing. And then she said that "security issues sometimes hamper the timely delivery of the mail to the post". I am trying to make sense out of that last sentence but I am not sure what it may mean? Any ideas? What kind of security checks happen while sending an approval from point A till point B?

Does it really take that long to be delivered?

Any ideas what this all means?

if it's any consolation it took us 3 or 4 weeks at (or to get to) nvc. some take longer and others take shorter. you might just have to wait it out and it'll get to where it's going. you can try calling once a week and see if it's there yet.
