I registered for email updates and received one saying they had sent the card. I also got a notification saying the I-765 had been approved and that they had sent a letter out - I got that letter after I received the EAD!

We just checked online and saw that our EAD was approved on the 28th and a card was being sent out. Also saw that our I131 was approved as well. Kind of strange we haven't heard anything about an interview yet but we'll take it. ;)

12-31-2012 - Obtained certified copy of marriage license from court house

01-04-2013 - Sent AOS and EAD package at 5:34pm

01-05-2013 - Arrived at Chicago Lockbox at 11:27 am but no authorized recipient available. Notice left.

01-06-2013 - USCIS Received package at 10:08 pm

01-08-2013 - Received Acceptance texts and emails from USCIS at 10:46 pm

01-09-2013 - Checks cashed

01-12-2013 - Received hard copies of NOA's

01-14-2013 - Received Biometrics appointment letter

01-31-2013 - Biometrics successfully completed

02-11-2013 - Additional biometrics requested

02-22-2013 - Biometrics successfully completed

03-08-2013 - Received EAD card

Congratulations, but since you had the second biometrics, i would expect to see an interview notice come in 2 weeks after your second bio appointment, so sometime around this Friday :). Good luck!

I think there is someone in the forum whose interview is on Wednesday March 6th. Mrs Gonzo?

I went to check our status just now (at 7am there were no updates yet) and we're getting ours soon too!

On March 4, 2013, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you. If we need something from you we will contact you. If you move before you receive the card, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.

Post Decision Activity

On March 4, 2013, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I131 APPLICATION FOR USCIS TRAVEL DOCUMENT. Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service at 1-800-375-528

After this status update, how long does it take to get the EAD Card? Does this mean they ordered for production, and then in few days they will mail EAD? or it means that it already mailed...

We finally got a new biometrics appointment for march 14. Over a month after the 1st one that hubby wasn't allowed to go to due to his expired ID. Hopefully he can get his EAD quickly after that. He's ready to drive & work!

Jan 4: receipt notices

Jan 7: Checks cashed

Feb 4: 1st biometrics appointment- attempted 2 unsuccessful early walk-ins. 2nd time told that hubby needed an unexpired passport. Rescheduled biometrics

Mar 14: biometrics completed. EAD card production ordered same day

Mar 19: ready for interview scheduling
