Hi all!

It's been two weeks since the interview where everything seemed to go great and I have not recieved my passport in the post. Should I be getting worried? Should I Ron the embassy? And people dealing with the Dublin embassy have the same problem?

In the middle of these 2 weeks there were 2 holidays. Were you given a timeline? Most consulates say they will deliver the passport with visa within 2 weeks. I would just email them and ask. Most consulates are very good about returning email. Good luck!!

Hi all!

call DOS (Department of State) on 202-663-1225. They usually have up to date info whether your visa has been already issued and mail to you or not. That way you'll know what is happening.

You can email Dublin Embassy but they can be useless sometimes and will not reply (like in my case) or will contact you shortly after receiving your email. Calling them won't help much either.

If I was you, I would ring DOS first and then depending on what will they tell you, mention that in your email to the embassy to draw their attention (say you called the Dept of State and that they told you this and that just so they know you really need an answer). That's what I did when I was waiting for them to give me my interview date and after waiting for any reply on my previous 2 emails, once DOS mentioned, the embassy replied in a few hours...

Of course there were holidays in between so my guess is, you will get your visa this week/ early next week :)

Good luck!
