Affidavit of Support - for IR1 / CR1

Our I-130 is still processing in NBC with MSC number. In that mean time, we are preparing the other documents for next step.

For Affidavit of Support - I864 , will it be OK if my husband make more than USD 18912? He has never sponsored anyone to States before and no relatvies there with him. I am the first person who he sponsored. So, it should be two people in his household size when I reach there. Am I correct?

He makes around usd 30 000 but he only rents a house, his car was paid off, not much savings but 401K.

I dont have much savings but I have NO debt at all. Just a few hundreds of credit card bill.

Is that can be good for I864? Kindly suggest.

If household size is 2 that's the amount.

What you make (I assume you are the Beneficiary doesn't matter nor your debt). He makes enough so his savings and assets is of no matter either.

if all of his income is w-2 income, and since he's over the threshold,

suggest he look at I-864EZ instead of I-864.

Also, study the I-864P .

Thank you so much. I will advise him. I plan to visit States on mid of Jan. I thought of helping him to collect all these papers and I also arranged for my police certificates.
