Check has old address

Hello Everyone,

I am almost done with the process. Still have 2-3 questions.

one of them -

We just moved to Los Angeles. And my wife's check has old address (bcz we got married 7-8 months back and had enough checks so never thought of ordering with new address)

Is that ok if I use her check (with old address) to pay the filing fees for I-130 and I-485?

2nd question:

I am going to send the packet tot Chicago Lockbox. The part I dont understand was

"Note the PO Box address for your filing type: Form I-130 with Form I-485"

Where should I write this "Form I-130 with Form I-485" while writing the Address?

For your 1st question: You can definitely use your wife's check with old address on it. No problem. We did same thing.

For your 2nd question: You can leave that note on the outside of your big package. When you send the package, the mail office probably will put another envelope outside yours. Tell the address where you want to mail to, the rest is their job.

What you guys had written as MEMO on Check? (I-130 Filing fee OR I-130 Processing Fee?)

I used a check with my former address on it with no problem

About the MEMO on the Check, list the main content on the check. For example, when we sent the check, we just simply wrote "Pay to the Order of: U.S. Dept of Homeland Security One Thousand Seventy dollars 0/100 cents". And on the same check, we put the purpose of money sending "For: I-485+Bio Filing Fee".

I'm in Los Angeles right now.
